Previously unreleased song. A tribute to the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots lost on June 30, 2013 in the Yarnell Hill Fire. The song is a fictional account written from the perspective of the lone survivor, Brendan McDonough. It is meant as an homage to him and his Hotshot crew.

The second verse lyrics were developed after resarching hotshot protocols with a Hotshot firefighting friend. If you walk the Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial State Park Trail you'll see a tribute to each crew member and their picture etched in stone. The trail leads to the site where the crew was trapped by the fire. There are 19 gabion baskets and crosses where they found the crew. It's a powerfully haunting place. Thank you to the firefighters who risk their lives for all.
